Director – Business Performance & PMO
Our client, a prominent group of companies in Abu Dhabi, is seeking a seasoned Director of Business Performance & PMO.
This is a senior business leadership role at the intersection of enterprise performance management and strategic program delivery, supporting the executive team in ensuring the organisation's strategic agenda is executed with discipline, clarity, and measurable impact.
This is not a technology or IT role; the focus is entirely on business performance, governance, and strategic execution
The Role
- The Director will be responsible for:
- Designing and maintaining an enterprise-wide performance management framework, cascading KPIs from group to business unit to individual level
- Leading the Program Management Office (PMO) to govern, prioritise, and deliver the organisation's portfolio of strategic initiatives
- Facilitating executive-level business performance reviews and providing data-driven insights to senior leadership
- Preparing board reports covering business performance, key risks, and strategic progress
- Driving cross-functional alignment across departments, assets, and subsidiaries
The Ideal Candidate
- Proven track record in business planning, performance management, and PMO leadership within a complex, dynamic organisation
- Strong background in translating corporate strategy into operational execution
- Experience managing high-impact, cross-functional initiatives at a group level
- PMP, PMI, or equivalent certification preferred
- MBA or advanced degree preferred
- Fluency in English essential; Arabic is an advantage
