Role overview

Strategy and portfolio

• Define a value-first Global Finance AI strategy and roadmap aligned with enterprise AI strategy, technology standards, and Finance priorities.
• Assess when AI is appropriate versus conventional automation, process redesign, or not proceeding; align Finance teams and leaders.
• Manage transparent intake, prioritization, business cases, named owners, milestones, and decisions to proceed, change, or stop.
• Prioritize a focused portfolio, which may include reporting commentary, knowledge access, exception handling, forecasting, collections, and project-margin early warning.

Value, building, and deployment

• Set baselines, estimate benefits and costs, track realized value, and report honestly on adoption, net value, cost, and controls.
• Personally design, build, test, and refine selected Finance agents and AI-enabled workflows; use Copilot and Copilot Studio hands-on.
• Test solutions with users, evaluate reliability and limitations, and decide whether to stop, improve, or pursue approved production deployment.
• Partner with Digital and IT for supported deployments and remain close to delivery without serving as sole developer of enterprise-scale products.

Governance, partnership, and leadership

• Translate enterprise AI standards into Finance processes for ownership, risk assessment, testing, approvals, human oversight, monitoring, and lifecycle management.
• Work with cybersecurity, privacy, legal, risk, and audit teams to protect sensitive data and clarify production decision rights.
• Partner with the Financial Systems CoE and process owners to fit ERP, EPM, and reporting architecture and redesign workflows around decisions and controls.
• Lead training and adoption; coach a small team, mobilize a federated network, and represent Finance in enterprise AI forums.

About the candidate

• Degree in Finance, Business, Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Significant experience leading AI, data, automation, or digital transformation in a complex organization, with results beyond pilots.
• Practical Copilot Cowork or Claude Cowork experience and a record of deploying agentic workflows and demonstrating value.
• Hands-on AI-agent development, testing, and deployment; Microsoft Copilot Studio is preferred, with examples personally created or materially developed.
• Experience navigating architecture, cybersecurity, privacy, data governance, and risk; experience in engineering, professional services, or project-based business.
• Working knowledge of generative AI, agents, analytics, automation, Finance processes, and decisions; Oracle-based Finance platform familiarity is included in the experience description.
• Evidence of solution adoption and measurable outcomes; active professional use of Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, or Claude with appropriate data judgment and human review.
• Ability to build investment cases, establish benefit baselines, and demonstrate ROI; exceptional collaboration, executive communication, and matrix leadership.
