Role overview

Strategy and portfolio

• Define a value-first Global Finance AI strategy and roadmap aligned with enterprise AI strategy and technology standards.
• Assess AI, automation and process redesign opportunities; prioritize a disciplined portfolio with clear owners, milestones and decisions.
• Develop and validate business cases, costs, baselines and realized benefits; recommend improving, scaling or discontinuing initiatives.

Solution delivery and governance

• Personally design, build, test and refine selected Finance agents and workflows, including hands-on use of Microsoft Copilot and Copilot Studio.
• Establish Finance governance for ownership, intake, risk assessment, testing, approvals, human oversight, monitoring and lifecycle management.
• Protect Finance and client information and partner with Digital, IT, cybersecurity, privacy, legal, risk and audit on approved production routes.

Partnership and team leadership

• Partner with Finance process owners and the Financial Systems CoE to fit ERP, EPM and reporting architecture and improve workflows.
• Lead communications, training and feedback to support adoption and reuse across regions.
• Build and coach a small team and mobilize Finance champions and enterprise specialists.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance, Business, Technology, Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Significant AI, data, automation or digital transformation leadership with measurable outcomes beyond proofs of concept.
• Practical experience with Copilot Cowork or Claude Cowork and deployed agentic workflows; hands-on AI agent development and deployment.
• Finance process knowledge and experience in engineering, professional services or project-based business; enterprise Finance platform familiarity is expected.
• Strong understanding of generative AI, analytics, governance, cybersecurity, privacy, data and risk requirements.
• Business case, benefit measurement, executive communication, collaboration and matrix leadership capability.
