Digital Solution Architect

Overview

1. Solution Architecture

• Define the technical vision, architecture strategy, and roadmap for major digital projects, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture principles.
• Lead the design of scalable, secure, and resilient architectures across cloud, microservices, integration platforms, automation, and data/AI technologies.
• Serve as the subject matter expert and final decision-maker for architectural choices and technology selection.
• Establish and enforce architecture governance, coding standards, and reusable design patterns.
• Conduct architecture reviews, solution assessments, and ensure all solutions meet enterprise NFR standards.

2. Technical Team Leadership

• Lead, manage, and mentor senior developers, technical leads, and multi-disciplinary engineering teams.
• Oversee technical implementation, ensuring delivery teams follow the approved architecture and meet project milestones.
• Conduct code reviews, performance reviews, and maintain high levels of quality, security, and maintainability.
• Act as the main escalation point for complex technical challenges, providing hands-on assistance and strategic direction when needed.

3. Strategic Business & Delivery Alignment

• Partner with business owners and IT stakeholders to translate business objectives into clear, actionable technical specifications.
• Ensure the technical team delivers user-centric digital services that enhance customer experience.
• Define best-fit implementation, deployment, and integration strategies.
• Identify technical risks, dependencies, and bottlenecks across the lifecycle, and implement effective mitigation plans.

Qualification and Education Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Professional certifications in cloud, architecture, or related technologies are highly desirable.
• 10+ years of experience in software development and solution architecture.

Minimum Experience/Skills Required

• 10+ years of experience in software development and solution architecture.
• Proven expertise designing complex architectures using modern software technologies.
• Demonstrated leadership experience in managing large technical teams and delivering enterprise-grade solutions.

Technical Skills & Competencies

• Strong experience with

Microsoft Azure Cloud Services

• , including security best practices, architecture design, and cost optimization.
• Hands-on experience with the

Mendix Low-Code Platform

• , including governance, development standards, and integration methodologies.
• In-depth knowledge of

IBM Cloud Pak for Business Automation

• or equivalent IBM BPM/ODM technologies.
• Experience designing and integrating with enterprise IAM solutions (OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML).
• Knowledge of

• Strong understanding of
• Enterprise Application Integration tools (preferably IBM, webMethods, or similar).
• Ability to define and enforce Non-Functional Requirements (NFRs) including performance, scalability, availability, and DR.
