Overview

We are hiring a **DevSecOps Migration & Modernization Specialist** to join one of the Big 4 on a project in Riyadh.

Role

We are seeking an experienced DevSecOps Specialist to work on the migration of repositories from an existing on-premises GitLab environment to a newly established GitLab SaaS platform while modernizing and standardizing DevSecOps practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Migrate GitLab repositories, branches, tags, and associated configurations to GitLab SaaS.
  • Assess, remediate, and optimize CI/CD pipelines to ensure successful operation in the target environment.
  • Modernize and standardize repository structures, branching strategies, CI/CD templates, and DevSecOps practices across teams.
  • Integrate security controls into the software delivery lifecycle, including SAST, DAST, dependency scanning, secret detection, and compliance checks.
  • Implement and optimize automated build, test, deployment, and security pipelines.
  • Resolve migration, integration, access management, and tooling issues.
  • Establish reusable DevSecOps frameworks, standards, and governance models.
  • Provide documentation, knowledge transfer, and post-migration support.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong experience with GitLab administration, GitLab SaaS migrations, and CI/CD engineering.
  • Hands-on expertise in DevSecOps, pipeline automation, infrastructure as code, and cloud-native technologies.
  • Experience implementing security scanning, compliance controls, and secure software development practices.
  • Strong knowledge of Git, containers, Kubernetes, and modern DevOps toolchains.
  • Proven track record delivering repository migrations and DevSecOps transformations in enterprise environments

Terms

  • 6-month extendable contract
  • 100% onsite – Riyadh
  • Candidates must already be based in KSA with valid residency/iqama

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary, Contract

Pay: ﷼14,000.00 - ﷼25,000.00 per month
