We are looking for a motivated, hands-on DevOps Engineer who bridges the gap between development and operations, someone who can build, deploy, and maintain modern application infrastructure while collaborating closely with both our internal team and customers.

Role Overview

You will be the technical backbone of our clients' application and infrastructure environments. Combining your development, containerization, cloud, and systems expertise, you'll ensure reliable, secure, and scalable deployments across a variety of customer-facing projects. This is an ideal role for a mid-level professional who thrives in a fast-paced startup setting and wants to make a real impact.

Key Responsibilities

• Linux Systems Management – Install, harden, and administer Linux-based servers and services, including DNS, DHCP, web servers (Nginx/Apache), and other critical infrastructure components.

• Application Deployment & CI/CD – Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines to streamline the delivery of PHP, Vue.js, React, and Node.js applications across client environments.

• Cloud Infrastructure (AWS) – Design, provision, and manage AWS environments using core services such as EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, Lambda, CloudWatch, and more; implement infrastructure-as-code using tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.

• Containerization & Orchestration – Deploy and manage containerized workloads using Docker and/or Podman; implement orchestration solutions to ensure high availability and scalability.

• Frontend & Backend Support – Collaborate with development teams on PHP backends and Vue.js/React/Node.js frontends, managing package ecosystems via npm/yarn and ensuring smooth build and release processes.

• Networking & Security – Configure and maintain network infrastructure including firewalls, VLANs, VPNs, and routing, ensuring secure and performant connectivity for client environments.

• Monitoring & Incident Response – Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions; diagnose and resolve infrastructure and application issues quickly to minimize client downtime.

• Presales Collaboration – Support the sales team with technical proposals, solution scoping, and demonstrations for prospective clients.

• Documentation – Produce clear infrastructure diagrams, runbooks, deployment guides, and standard operating procedures.

• Continuous Learning – Stay current with emerging DevOps tools, cloud technologies, and best practices to recommend the best solutions for each client.

Qualifications

• Experience: 4–6 years in a DevOps, Platform Engineering, or closely related role

• AWS (Mandatory): Proven hands-on experience with AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, and related tooling; AWS certification (e.g. Solutions Architect or DevOps Engineer) is a strong advantage

• Languages & Frameworks: Hands-on experience with PHP and JavaScript ecosystems including Vue.js, React, and Node.js

• Package & Build Tools: Proficiency with npm, yarn, and related build tooling

• Containerization: Solid practical experience with Docker and/or Podman in production environments

• Linux Proficiency: Strong Linux administration skills, including shell scripting and service management

• Networking Knowledge: Good understanding of TCP/IP, VLANs, firewalls, VPNs, and network security fundamentals

• Problem-Solving: Ability to diagnose complex infrastructure and application issues under pressure

• Communication: Excellent written and spoken English for client interaction and documentation

• Presales (Optional): Experience supporting technical sales cycles is a plus but not mandatory
