About This Role
Overview
XHR Gaming Solutions is hiring a skilled **DevOps** **Engineer** to build, maintain, and scale our cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines that support game services and developer workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for game backend and tooling.
- Provision and manage cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP) using IaC (Terraform/CloudFormation).
- Monitor system performance, capacity planning, and incident response; implement observability (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
- Automate deployments, configuration management, and release processes (Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
- Optimize containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Implement security best practices across infrastructure, deployments, and secrets management.
- Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to improve reliability and deployment velocity.
- Troubleshoot production issues and conduct root-cause analysis; document runbooks.
- Participate in architecture and design reviews to ensure scalability and cost-efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or similar roles.
- Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and IaC tools (Terraform/CloudFormation).
- Proficient with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or similar).
- Hands-on with Docker and Kubernetes (deployments, Helm charts, operators).
- Familiarity with monitoring/logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK) and alerting.
- Scripting skills (Python, Bash, or Go) and automation mindset.
- Knowledge of networking, load balancing, caching, and performance tuning.
- Experience with security tooling, secrets management (Vault, AWS Secrets Manager) and compliance standards.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- English fluent; Arabic is a plus.
Salary
90–180 SAR per hour (commensurate with experience and qualifications)
