Job Description
– Senior DevOps Engineer (GCP / GitLab CI)
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in GCP, GitLab CI/CD, Kubernetes, and Infrastructure Automation.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for building, managing, and optimizing scalable cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring systems, and deployment strategies while ensuring reliability, security, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD.
Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), especially GKE.
Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
Work with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.
Monitor application and infrastructure performance using Grafana, Prometheus, and Dynatrace.
Collaborate with development and SRE teams for deployment automation, incident management, RCA, scalability, and reliability improvements.
Manage artifact repositories and dependency lifecycle using JFrog Artifactory.
Support quality and security integrations using tools like SonarQube.
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical decision-making and best practices.
Required Skills
Strong hands-on experience with GitLab CI/CD and Git workflows.
Expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Kubernetes (GKE).
Proficiency in Terraform and Infrastructure as Code practices.
Experience
with Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm Charts.
Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, and Dynatrace.
Exposure to Node.js environments and software development lifecycle.
Experience
with JFrog Artifactory and artifact management.
Strong understanding of SRE principles, incident handling, and system reliability.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Experience
working in enterprise-scale cloud environments.
Ability to work in Agile/DevOps-driven teams.
