Overview
The Development Engineer Avionics manages and carries out the Development Engineering function relating to aircraft avionics, instruments, software and inventory, so that Presidential Flight equipment is maintained and modified to the highest standards, while being responsible and accountable for a safe and cost-effective operation in adherence to PF and Aviation regulations.
Qualifications/Requirements Education
Essential: B.Sc.
Degree in Electrical/Electronic/Avionics Engineering or equivalent.
Essential
- 10 years experience as a Development Engineer
- 5 years experience on one Presidential Flight aircraft type
- Good communication skills
- Ability to systemize cases
Desirable
- Experience in a large airline Engineering Department
- Experience in overseeing major projects within airline / flight department
- Senior supervisory position within a maintenance organization.
- Experience with VIP aircraft.
