Overview
- Prepare detailed shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and erection drawings for structural and miscellaneous steel projects.
- Interpret structural and architectural drawings, specifications, and design documents.
- Generate material take-offs, bills of materials (BOM), and cutting lists.
- Coordinate with engineers, project managers, fabricators, and site teams to resolve design and detailing issues.
- Ensure drawings comply with project specifications, industry standards, and client requirements.
- Review and revise drawings based on comments from engineers, clients, and fabrication teams.
- Maintain drawing records and document revisions accurately.
- Assist in identifying fabrication and erection challenges and propose practical solutions.
- Support project schedules by delivering detailing packages within deadlines.
