We are looking for a skilled Desktop Support Engineer who can join immediately to provide technical assistance and support for end-users.
The candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting hardware/software issues, maintaining IT systems, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide first-level technical support to end-users (onsite and remote).
- Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network connectivity issues.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access (Active Directory).
- Install and support operating systems (Windows, macOS) and business applications.
- Handle IT helpdesk tickets and ensure timely resolution as per SLA.
- Support email systems (e.g., Outlook, Office 365).
- Perform system upgrades, patches, and antivirus updates.
- Maintain asset inventory and documentation.
- Assist with basic network troubleshooting (LAN/Wi-Fi/VPN).
- Coordinate with vendors for hardware repairs and replacements.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in relevant field.
- Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft Office, and common business applications.
- Familiarity with Active Directory, user management, and group policies.
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
- Experience with ticketing systems and remote support tools.
- Knowledge of hardware components and troubleshooting techniques.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Office 365 administration.
- Basic knowledge of cybersecurity best practices.
- Familiarity with imaging tools and deployment processes.
- Certifications like CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified (MCP/Modern Desktop) are a plus.
- Willing to provide onsite support and occasional after-hours support if required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED3,000.00 per month
