• Bloomberg TV and Radio is seeking an experienced and highly motivated News Gathering Producer to join our Dubai bureau.
• The successful candidate will be a strong journalist with a passion for breaking news, original reporting and compelling storytelling.
• You'll be able to capture the drama of politics and major news events while explaining their implications for a global audience of investors, business leaders and policymakers.
• Based in one of the world's most dynamic news hubs, you'll play a key role in shaping Bloomberg's coverage across television, radio and digital platforms.
• You'll bring sound editorial judgment, strong production skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative newsroom environment.
• A keen interest in markets, business, economics and geopolitics is essential, as is the flexibility to travel and work outside standard hours when news demands.
• We'll trust you to:
• Field produce live and breaking news coverage in Dubai and across the Middle East, managing logistics, live broadcasts and editorial coordination
• Produce and coordinate interviews with newsmakers, policymakers, business leaders and market participants
• Provide editorial guidance and planning support on major regional stories, helping shape coverage across Bloomberg's platforms
• Work closely with reporters, anchors, editors and producers around the world to ensure our journalism reaches the widest possible audience
• Produce and edit video content, oversee graphics and ensure stories are presented in a clear, compelling and visually engaging way
• Research, verify and develop story ideas, guests and live coverage opportunities
• Coordinate access to live feeds, events and external broadcast resources
• You'll need to have:
• 3+ years of broadcast news production experience
• Strong editorial judgment and a proven ability to creatively use video and graphics
• Exceptional organizational, communication and multitasking skills
• The ability to work collaboratively across teams and platforms
• A proactive, solutions-oriented approach and the ability to take initiative
• Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings and weekends when required by the news cycle
• Experience in financial journalism is preferred
• Arabic or other regional language skills are advantageous
