Job Description

Design and Coordination Duties

• Review project single-line diagrams, specifications, and technical documents.
• Provide compliance assessments and identify deviations from project specifications.
• Develop general arrangement drawings, single-line diagrams, schematics, and bills of materials.
• Perform busbar sizing, heat dissipation, and short-circuit calculations.
• Visit project sites as required to align designs with site conditions.
• Attend client and consultant meetings for design clarifications.
• Ensure designs meet IEC standards and local regulations.

Submittals and Delivery Support

• Prepare and submit technical submittals, follow up, and obtain authority approvals.
• Release bills of materials for procurement and approved drawings for production.
• Support procurement with product selection and stores with incoming material inspection.
• Support production with panel assembly and quality control with troubleshooting and testing.
• Coordinate with quality control and site teams for successful FAT and SAT.
• Prepare operation and maintenance manuals and project closeout documents.
• Prepare training manuals and train the customer's operation and maintenance team.
• Maintain proper documents and records for design-related activities.

Skills

• In-depth knowledge of LV system design, product selection, and IEC standards.
• Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, Eplan, ERP systems, and communication protocols.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills for collaboration with consultants and clients.
• Attention to detail and technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Competency

• Degree in Electrical Engineering with three years of experience or diploma with five years of experience.
