Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Design Engineer, located in Abu Dhabi.
Responsibilities
include developing product designs for, creating detailed engineering blueprints, utilizing Solid Works & CAD software, and ensuring products meet technical and safety standards.
The Design Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine product specifications and oversee project development to meet client requirements.
This role also involves problem-solving and innovating solutions to engineering challenges across various projects.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Design Engineering and Product Design with attention to detail
- Creating detailed 3D models, 2D drawings and assembly designs using SolidWorks & CAD softwares.
- Conduct feasibility studies and prepare technicsl proposals
- Ensure design suitability for moulding processes
- Address casting defects through design improvements and root cause analysis
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or a related engineering field
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to address technical challenges
- Experience in manufacturing or casting industries is preferred
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work in cross-functional teams
