Design Engineers

Civil, Mechanical, and Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I)

Common Responsibilities (All Disciplines)

• Prepare and review engineering designs, calculations, drawings, and technical documents as per project specifications.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure design integration and project compliance.
• Review client specifications, standards, and project requirements.
• Support procurement and construction teams with technical clarifications.
• Participate in design reviews, HAZOP, constructability reviews, and technical meetings.
• Ensure compliance with international codes, safety standards, and client requirements.
• Handle design revisions and as-built documentation.

Civil Design Engineer Responsibilities

• Design and review foundations, steel structures, buildings, roads, drainage, and underground utilities.
• Perform structural analysis and design calculations.
• Prepare civil GA drawings, reinforcement drawings, and material take-offs.
• Ensure designs comply with local and international codes.

Mechanical Design Engineer Responsibilities

• Prepare piping layouts, equipment layouts, isometrics, stress analysis, and material specifications.
• Design static and rotating equipment packages.
• Review P&IDs, equipment datasheets, and vendor drawings.
• Coordinate with process and piping teams.

E&I Design Engineer Responsibilities

• Prepare electrical load calculations, cable sizing, lighting layouts, and single-line diagrams.
• Design instrumentation hook-ups, loop diagrams, JB schedules, and cable routing.
• Review control systems, PLC/DCS interface requirements.
• Prepare hazardous area design documentation.

Preferred Software

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in relevant Engineering discipline (Civil / Mechanical / Electrical / Instrumentation).
• Minimum
• 5–10 years
• of Oil & Gas / EPC project experience.
• GCC/Qatar project experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of international codes such as API, ASME, ASTM, IEC, IEEE, BS, NFPA.
• Experience working on refinery, petrochemical, gas processing, or pipeline projects preferred.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Available for immediate or short notice joining preferred.
