The Design Drafter is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
The role prepares technical, engineering, and architectural drawings using CAD tools and other drafting software.
Responsibilities
- Interpret design concepts, specifications, and sketches to create clear, accurate drawings.
- Update and revise plans as needed.
- Coordinate with engineers, architects, and project managers to align drawings with project requirements.
- Maintain organized drawing files and follow company and industry standards.
- Check drawings for completeness and consistency to support quality control.
Qualifications
- Produce precise technical drawings and general drawing work for various project types.
- Proficiency in engineering drawings for mechanical, structural, or related engineering applications.
- Experience creating architectural plans, sections, and elevations.
- Strong CAD skills and familiarity with relevant drafting software.
- Attention to detail, spatial and visual thinking, and technical specification interpretation.
- Diploma or degree in drafting, engineering, architecture, or a related field.
- Design or construction environment experience, preferably in the Gulf region, is an advantage.
- Effective communication and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams on-site.
