Primary Responsibilities

  • Conduct weekly Team huddles, coordinate workloads, and hold Team Members accountable for results.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for Division and project teams, providing updates during weekly market meetings.
  • Participate in Preliminary and Final Market Product Development Meetings and lead market-specific First-Time Build and Model walks.
  • Ensure architectural plans comply with applicable municipal codes, permitting requirements, developer guidelines, and lot-specific requirements.
  • Serve as the quality-control checkpoint for new plans, elevations, and plan revisions.
  • Collaborate with Draftspersons to develop address-specific plans for single-family and multi-family projects across the division.
  • Partner with the Design Production Manager to manage workflow, priorities, and established product deadlines.
  • Facilitate problem-solving and collaboration among Team Members.
  • Meet established monthly and quarterly department performance goals.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, or a related field preferred; or an applied technical degree in architectural design.
  • Four or more years of experience working with construction documents and plans.
  • Residential design experience and strong knowledge of residential construction drawings required.
  • Two or more years of management experience in a related field preferred, but not required.
  • Experience with AutoCAD and Revit preferred, but not required.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent communication and Customer Service skills, with the tact and professionalism to work effectively with internal and external Customers.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, including the ability to prioritize responsibilities and manage multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment.
  • A collaborative, detail-oriented approach with strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and a sense of urgency.
