Switzel International is seeking a **Director of Projects / Head of Project Delivery** to lead all project execution across the organization.
This role will be the **single point of contact** for all clients on technical and delivery matters and will head all technical and BIM teams across Architecture, Structure, MEP, and Engineering disciplines.
**Strong BIM experience and leadership are mandatory for this role**, as projects are delivered through BIM-led workflows and digital collaboration environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the **one point of contact** for all clients on technical, BIM, coordination, and delivery matters.
- Lead and manage all technical and BIM teams across disciplines.
- Define BIM-driven project delivery strategies and execution plans.
- Establish project teams, roles, and resourcing aligned with BIM and project requirements.
- Oversee planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery of all projects.
- Control project schedules, budgets, risks, and quality across the full project portfolio.
- Ensure compliance with BIM execution plans, client BIM protocols, and contractual requirements.
- Resolve cross-discipline technical and BIM coordination issues.
- Standardize BIM, QA/QC, and project management processes across the company.
- Provide consolidated project, BIM, and risk status reports directly to the CEO.
- Serve as the focal point for **all internal and external technical and BIM-related queries**.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Architecture (Master’s preferred).
- **15+ years of experience** in project delivery, with strong exposure to BIM-led projects.
- Proven experience leading **multi-discipline technical and BIM teams**.
- Demonstrated hands-on understanding of BIM workflows, coordination, and digital delivery.
- Strong project management expertise, including:
- **PMP or equivalent certification** (preferred)
- **Primavera P6** for planning and scheduling
- Experience working within CDE environments and managing BIM standards and compliance.
- Strong client-facing skills with the ability to manage senior stakeholders.
- Experience delivering **Middle East projects** is a strong advantage.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
