The Pearl International Hospital is seeking a qualified Dermatology Specialist or Consultant to join our comprehensive medical team.
The role involves diagnosing and managing a wide range of acute and chronic skin, hair, and nail conditions, providing high-quality medical, surgical, and aesthetic dermatological care in a modern, patient-focused setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, diagnose, and treat a comprehensive range of dermatological conditions across all age groups
- Perform dermatological procedures including skin biopsies, cryotherapy, excisions, and electrosurgery
- Administer cosmetic and aesthetic treatments (such as Botox, dermal fillers, and laser therapies) safely and according to accepted clinical standards
- Develop and manage long-term treatment plans for chronic skin conditions like psoriasis, eczema, acne, and skin cancer
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams and other specialists for comprehensive patient care and referrals
- Maintain accurate medical records and clinical documentation
- Support quality improvement and patient safety activities within the department
- Provide patient education and counseling regarding preventative skin care and sun safety
- Supervise junior clinical staff when required
Requirements
- Medical degree from a recognized university
- Specialist or Consultant qualification in Dermatology
- Valid license or eligibility for licensing with Qatar DHP
- Strong dual experience in both clinical/medical and aesthetic dermatology
- Ability to work efficiently and make sound clinical decisions
- Arabic language proficiency preferred but not mandatory
- Previous clinical experience in Qatar preferred
