Overview
The Deputy Project Manager supports the Project Manager in the full lifecycle delivery of building and villa construction projects in the UAE.
The role takes ownership of specific project packages, manages cross-functional coordination, and acts as the primary point of contact in the Project Manager's absence.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Project Manager in planning, executing, monitoring, and closing construction projects.
- Manage specific project scopes, packages, or phases as delegated by the Project Manager.
- Coordinate between technical, execution, QAQC, commercial, and design teams to ensure integrated project delivery.
- Monitor project programme, cost, and quality performance and report variances to the Project Manager.
- Lead preparation and review of project reports, meeting minutes, and correspondence.
- Manage client and consultant relationships professionally, ensuring issues are resolved promptly.
- Support risk identification and mitigation planning across project phases.
- Drive HSE compliance culture across all project stakeholders.
- Mentor and supervise junior engineers and site staff.
