· Oversee day-to-day business functions of VGE Business Divisions to ensure smooth and efficient operation, and meeting customer and company expectation.
· Liaise with the Heads of VGE Business Divisions and identify any bottlenecks to boost productivity and cost effectiveness of each Business Unit.
· Gather, monitor, maintain and analyze data related to operational performance of each VGE Business Unit and report the result to Operations Manager.
· Identify and propose relevant resources needed including facility, tools, equipment, information technology and manpower to ensure business continuity and competitiveness in the market.
· Identify and propose new business opportunity or product line based on the capabilities of each Business Division.
· Review documents related to tender, contracts and agreements as and when advised.
· Deputize and/or act the role of Operations Manager in his absence particularly in decision making and solving conflict.
· Reports to Operations Manager
Qualification And Experience
· Graduate of Engineering Degree
· Post graduate related to Managerial Courses is an advantage
· Experience in Oil and Gas industry is a must
· Min. 15 years of total experience with at least 5 years in Managerial or Assistant Managerial Position
· Maximum of 50 years of age
· Good knowledge in operations management
· Knowledge in tender and contracts review
