Overview

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Deputy Operations Manager to support and oversee the day-to-day operations of multiple business divisions.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the Oil & Gas industry, strong leadership capabilities, and a proven track record in operational excellence, business performance improvement, and contract management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day business functions across Business Divisions to ensure smooth and efficient operations while meeting customer and company expectations.
  • Liaise with Heads of Business Divisions to identify operational bottlenecks and implement solutions that improve productivity and cost-effectiveness.
  • Gather, monitor, maintain, and analyze operational performance data and prepare reports for the Operations Manager.
  • Identify and recommend resources, including facilities, equipment, tools, information technology, and manpower requirements to support business continuity and growth.
  • Evaluate and propose new business opportunities, services, and product lines based on the capabilities of each Business Division.
  • Review tenders, contracts, agreements, and other commercial documents as required.
  • Act on behalf of the Operations Manager during absences, including decision-making, conflict resolution, and operational leadership.
  • Support strategic planning and continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from a recognized institution.
  • Postgraduate qualification in Management, Business Administration, or related managerial disciplines is an advantage.
  • Mandatory experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
  • Minimum 15 years of total professional experience.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a managerial or assistant managerial position.
  • Strong knowledge of operations management principles and business process improvement.
  • Experience in tender evaluation, contract review, and commercial documentation.
  • Excellent leadership, analytical, communication, and decision-making skills.
