We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced General Practitioner Dentist.
The candidate must be
MOH Registered and Licensed
.
They must possess at least (3) years of UAE work experience.
The GP Dentist will be required to provide comprehensive dental care to our patients.
Their role will involve diagnosing, treating, and advising on various dental issues, and they should possess a wide range of expertise in addressing teeth and gum problems.
Responsibilities
- Examine patients’ medical records.
- Prepare patients for treatment (e.g. by applying oral sedation or anesthesia)
- Check teeth, gums, and other parts of the mouth, along with X-rays and tests, to diagnose dental problems.
- Clean teeth and remove plaque.
- Identify tooth decay and replace cavities with fillings.
- Perform required procedures to help alleviate pain or fix broken or decaying teeth.
- Perform general dental procedures such as fillings, root canals, x-rays, scale and polish, fluoride coating, obtain molds of teeth, consult for dental implants or false teeth, and tooth extraction.
- Design and fit dental prosthetics, such as bridges, crowns, and dentures.
- Apply teeth-whitening treatments.
- Conduct tooth extractions and root canal procedures.
- Prescribe medication as needed.
- Educate patients on proper brushing techniques, flossing and fluoride use.
- Promote good oral health and preventive dental care (e.g. by scheduling regular check-ups).
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a General Practitioner Dentist.
- MOH License (or Eligibility) as a General Practitioner Dentist.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- A pleasant and compassionate personality with the ability to make patients feel comfortable.
- Patient-focused with good relationship-building abilities
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion.
Education
- Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) or Doctor Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree or Equivalent.
