Dental Laboratory Manager (Hands-on / Master Technician)

About This Role

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Dental Laboratory Manager to lead our dynamic team. This is a "working manager" role, meaning the successful candidate will not only oversee daily lab operations, workflow, and quality control, but will also actively participate in high-level bench work. You will serve as the crucial link between our technicians, management, and our client dentists, ensuring top-tier aesthetic and functional results.

Key Responsibilities:

• Hands-on Bench Work & Aesthetics: Actively participate in high-value technical work, including advanced ceramic build-ups for complex anterior cases, custom staining and glazing, and precise final adjustments to occlusion and morphology.
• Workflow & Production Management: Plan, organize, and oversee the daily production schedule to ensure maximum efficiency and on-time case deliveries.
• Strict Quality Control: Perform meticulous final inspections of all cases (Crown & Bridge, CAD/CAM, Implants, and Removables) before dispatch, stepping in to make immediate technical corrections when necessary to maintain flawless standards.
• Complex Case Planning: Consult with dentists and guide the technical team on the planning and execution of Full Mouth Rehabilitations and complex implant-supported structures.
• Team Leadership & Mentoring: Train, evaluate, and mentor dental technicians across all departments, resolving technical bottlenecks and fostering a positive, high-performance work environment.
• Client Relations: Act as the primary technical contact for dentists, discussing treatment plans, addressing feedback, and providing expert advice on material selection and technical feasibility.
• Lab Administration: Oversee material inventory, ordering, and ensure the regular maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment (furnaces, milling machines, etc.).

Qualifications & Skills Required:

• Degree or Higher Diploma in Dental Technology.
• 10+ years of comprehensive bench experience, with an exceptional, portfolio-backed mastery of high-end dental ceramics and aesthetics.
• 3+ years of proven experience in a managerial or supervisory role within a dental laboratory.
• Deep understanding of all lab departments, including conventional techniques and modern digital workflows (CAD/CAM, 3D printing, metal milling).
• Outstanding leadership, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact professionally with clinical partners.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Contract
Contract length: 48 months

Pay: AED10,000.00 - AED20,000.00 per month
