Dental Ceramic Technician - Dental Laboratory (DOH)

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and finish crowns, bridges, veneers, inlays, onlays, and implant restorations.
• Perform porcelain build-up, layering, contouring, staining, glazing, and characterization.
• Match shades and work with zirconia, E-max, and PFM materials.
• Interpret prescriptions, impressions, and work instructions from clinicians.
• Check fit, occlusion, function, and aesthetics; repair or adjust restorations as needed.
• Collaborate with clinicians and laboratory colleagues; maintain equipment and follow infection-control, quality, and safety standards.
• Keep current with ceramic materials and laboratory techniques.

Qualifications and experience

• Diploma or certification in Dental Technology or a related field.
• 3–5 years of dental laboratory experience as a Dental Ceramic Technician.
• Four years of ceramic build-up and finishing experience is required.
• DOH License or Eligibility Letter is required.
• Expertise in ceramic techniques and experience with zirconia, E-max, PFM, and implant-supported restorations.
• Ability to work independently and meet production deadlines; high attention to detail and quality craftsmanship.
• Abu Dhabi location is preferred.

• Manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork.
• Knowledge of dental laboratory workflows and materials.
