Key responsibilities
- Decontaminate, inspect, assemble, package, and sterilize surgical instruments and medical equipment.
- Operate and maintain autoclaves, ultrasonic cleaners, and other sterilization equipment.
- Follow infection-control protocols and CSSD guidelines.
- Manage sterile supplies and instruments inventory, ensuring availability and proper rotation.
- Coordinate with operating theater and clinical staff to prioritize instrument needs.
- Maintain accurate sterilization-cycle and equipment-maintenance records.
- Follow hospital policies and applicable standards, including JCI and DHA guidelines.
Requirements
- Diploma or certification in Sterilization Technology, CSSD, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of CSSD Technician experience in a hospital or clinic.
- DOH License or Eligibility Letter is mandatory.
- In-depth knowledge of sterilization techniques, equipment, and infection-control standards.
- Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to work under pressure.
- Good communication skills in English.
