About This Role
We are seeking a friendly, organized, and detail-oriented Dental Cashier to join our growing dental practice. You will be the first point of contact for our patients, responsible for managing payments, billing, and ensuring a smooth, welcoming front-desk experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Transactions: Process patient payments (cash, credit card), handle daily cash reconciliation, and maintain the petty cash drawer.
- Patient Billing & Insurance: Prepare patient bills, issue receipts, and assist in sending dental insurance claims for approvals.
- Record Keeping: Accurately update and maintain patient files and financial records in the clinic's management software.
- Requirements & Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a cashier or receptionist, ideally within a dental or medical clinic.
- Education: High school diploma required; a diploma in accounting, finance, or business administration is a plus.
- Skills: Strong numerical ability, excellent customer service, and great verbal communication skills.
