Full-time Dental Assistant role based in Jumeirah, Dubai, UAE.
The clinic seeks an experienced professional with strong clinical assisting experience and the ability to work efficiently in a dental environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during examinations and dental procedures.
- Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, materials, and equipment before procedures; follow sterilization and infection-control procedures.
- Maintain patient records and update clinical information accurately.
- Prepare patients for treatment and support them before, during, and after procedures.
- Manage dental instruments and supplies; assist with dental X-rays where permitted and required.
- Coordinate with dentists, reception, and team members to support smooth patient flow.
- Maintain a clean, safe, organized clinical environment and follow clinic policies, DHA requirements, and applicable healthcare standards.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience as a Dental Assistant and previous experience in a dental clinic or healthcare facility.
- Good knowledge of dental instruments, procedures, sterilization, and infection-control standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; professional appearance and patient-focused attitude.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, and ability to work effectively within a clinical team.
- Good command of English.
Preferred qualifications
- DHA license or eligibility as a Dental Assistant is preferred.
- Previous experience in the Dubai or UAE healthcare sector is preferred.
