Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook Italian menu items according to recipes and company standards.
- Assist in the preparation of pizzas, pasta, sauces, risottos, antipasti, and other Italian specialties.
- Ensure food is prepared and presented consistently and attractively.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the assigned kitchen section.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and HACCP procedures at all times.
- Monitor stock levels and inform supervisors of shortages.
- Properly store food items and ensure stock rotation using FIFO principles.
- Assist in receiving and checking deliveries.
- Minimize food waste and control portion sizes.
- Support the Chef de Partie during busy service periods.
- Ensure all kitchen equipment is used safely and maintained properly.
- Train and assist junior kitchen staff when required.
- Attend staff meetings and training sessions as directed by management.
Requirements
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in an Italian restaurant or similar role.
- Good knowledge of Italian cuisine and cooking techniques.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Pay: AED3,000.00 per month
