Demand Planner

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate demand forecasts using historical sales, market trends, and business requirements.
• Analyze sales data, inventory levels, and demand patterns to identify trends and forecast future requirements.
• Coordinate with Sales, Marketing, Procurement, and Operations teams to align demand and supply plans.
• Monitor inventory levels and help prevent overstocking and stock shortages.
• Review forecast accuracy and continuously improve forecasting methods.
• Prepare regular demand planning reports and provide insights to management.
• Support promotional and seasonal demand planning activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, Statistics, or a related field.
• Two to four years of experience in demand planning, supply chain, inventory planning, or a similar role.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills; ability to analyze large datasets and make data-driven decisions.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; ERP systems experience is an advantage.
• Good understanding of inventory management, forecasting, and supply chain processes.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
