Provide reliable and courteous customer transportation with safety as a priority, maintain assigned vehicles and records, and provide communication between customers and staff.
Duties
- Operate assigned vehicles safely and courteously and serve as a positive role model while transporting customers.
- Provide a communication link between customers and staff.
- Perform minor maintenance tasks on assigned vehicles as required.
- Maintain current trip sheets, customer transportation forms, maintenance, fuel, incident, accident, vehicle-condition, and other requested records.
- Perform other manager-assigned tasks that do not violate labor law.
Qualifications and skills
- At least 1 year of relevant driving experience and a valid driver's licence.
- Good knowledge of traffic laws and road safety.
- Good communication and record-keeping skills; reliable, punctual, and professional.
- Skills include transportation services and route planning, vehicle operations, customer service, road-safety compliance, vehicle inspection, record keeping, and safe driving.
