Delivery Project Lead- Infrastructure Tech Lead

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute delivery projects aligned with business goals and client expectations; define scope, objectives, and deliverables with cross-functional teams.
• Use GCP and infrastructure knowledge to design and implement scalable solutions and apply DevOps practices to improve delivery and operations.
• Oversee microservices development and deployment for availability and performance; manage Kafka implementations for real-time processing and integration.
• Use Apigee for API management and integration with existing systems.
• Monitor progress and performance, update stakeholders, identify and mitigate risks, and encourage continuous improvement.
• Drive end-to-end deployment, cutover, and disaster-recovery plans, updating plans based on business suggestions.
• Coordinate with database, application support, and Windows integration teams on activities such as server patching and configuration changes.
• Send daily status updates and reports, coordinate teams, escalate when needed, and work with change managers to obtain approvals and participate in CAB meetings.
• Review server logs, rectify issues, and highlight issues where needed.

Mandatory skills and qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Google Cloud Platform and cloud infrastructure; proficient understanding of DevOps methodologies and tools.
• Experience with microservices architecture and design patterns; familiarity with Kafka messaging and data streaming; knowledge of Apigee API management and integration.
• Excellent project management skills focused on delivery and execution, along with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven track record of delivering complex projects in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred skills

• Experience with Docker or Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, Agile methodologies, cloud security best practices, and remote-team management is preferred.
• Google Cloud, DevOps, or project-management certifications are a plus.
