Job Purpose

We, at Datamatics, are looking out for Delivery Manager Professionals to join our DT team

Delivery Management & Leadership

  • Own and manage end-to-end service delivery across multiple projects/accounts.
  • Ensure timely delivery of projects within defined scope, quality, and cost constraints.
  • Establish delivery governance models, KPIs, and SLAs.
  • Monitor project health, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Act as a mentor for technical solutions as and when required
  • Provide Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence subject matter expertise and leadership
  • Support in presales & create / review estimations
  • Upsell/cross-sell/dig avenues of growth

Client Engagement & Stakeholder Management

  • Act as the primary point of contact for delivery-related client interactions.
  • Build strong relationships with key client stakeholders.
  • Ensure client satisfaction through proactive communication and issue resolution.
  • Conduct regular service review meetings and reporting.
  • Manage team and client issues / escalations / impediments to effective closures.

Project & Program Management

  • Oversee managers and delivery teams.
  • Ensure adherence to project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, etc.).
  • Track progress, manage dependencies, and ensure alignment with business goals.
  • Drive continuous improvement in delivery processes.
  • Understand the business requirement and project
  • Define the project scope, estimation of resources and timelines, goals, deliverables & measures of success
  • Ensure the team is thoroughly trained on application / technology
  • Conduct and oversee project implementation and evaluate the progress regularly
  • Ensures all project information is appropriately documented
  • Track deliverables; Monitor and report on project(s) progress to client/stakeholders
  • Ensure execution and quality of the work basis set benchmarks
  • Ensure process / product quality parameters compliance

Financial Management

  • Own P&L (Profit & Loss) for assigned accounts/projects.
  • Manage budgets, forecasts, and cost optimization initiatives.
  • Ensure revenue realization and margin targets are met.
  • Identify and drive opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.

Resource & Team Management

  • Plan and allocate resources effectively across projects.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop delivery teams.
  • Ensure optimal utilization and productivity of resources.
  • Foster a high-performance, collaborative team environment.

Quality & Risk Management

  • Ensure adherence to quality standards and compliance requirements.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate delivery risks.
  • Implement best practices and process improvements.
  • Maintain audit readiness and documentation.

Process Improvement & Innovation

  • Drive automation, efficiency improvements, and innovation initiatives.
  • Implement industry best practices and delivery frameworks.
  • Contribute to organizational knowledge and capability building.
  • Implement and manage change when necessary to meet project outputs
  • Contribute to continuous improvement

Requirement

  • **Education:**
  • Graduate – B.E/B.Tech - IT/CS with above 60% aggregate in SSC, HSC & Degree
  • Required Minimum18 years of experience with 10 years of delivery management experience.
  • 5+ years hands on experience with managing and leading data warehouse projects preferably with Banking experience
  • Data-driven decision-making.
  • Risk assessment and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients, project team members, supervisors, and employees from other departments.
  • Strong knowledge and hands on experience in data warehouse.
  • Strong understanding of IT service delivery models (AMS, Infrastructure, Cloud, Digital, etc.)
  • Experience with Agile, DevOps, ITIL frameworks.
  • Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Financial acumen (budgeting, forecasting, margin management).
  • Excellent conflict resolution skills is required.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to handle escalations and conflict resolution effectively.
  • Must be able to learn, understand, and apply new technologies.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment is crucial.
  • Hands on experience with a Tier I BI and ETL tool is desired (experience with Talend, Pyspark, PowerBI is a plus)
  • Experience in managing support projects in Data is a plus
  • PMI/PMP or Prince2 certification is a plus
