Decision Support Analyst

Position Summary

Key Outputs

• Data Analysis: Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends, insights, and areas for improvement.
• Reporting: Prepare and present reports that summarize findings and support business decisions.
• Collaboration: Work closely with various departments to gather data and understand their analytical needs.
• Forecasting: Assist in the development of financial forecasts and budgets based on historical data and market trends.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies within the decision-making framework.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures as well as compliance to the Credit control policy.
• Sales Controlling:
• + Function as a co-pilot in the commercial organization in daily operations.
• + Provide periodic reports and financial information for sales management.
• + Prepare monthly forecasts and facilitate sales meetings.
• + Conduct ad hoc analyses to support business strategies.
• + Support business decision-making, including involvement in business cases.
• + Pre-evaluation (before promo)
• + Post-evaluation (after promo)
• + New & existing customer-related promo analysis
• + Analyze and evaluate net prices and profitability at the customer level.
• + Support and validate the pricing framework.
• + Assist internal and HQ reporting.
• Trade Spend and PFME:
• + Oversee the overall trade-spend planning and track actuals.
• + Prepare the budget, track trade marketing expenses.
• + Perform accounting reconciliations and ensure system (SAP) provisions are supported.
• + Review and validating claims and deductions related to trade-spend.
• + Regular preparation of reports to identify risks and opportunities for improvement.
• Support the delivery of F&C mission within the BU, provide training needs within BU

Key Experiences

• + Educational Background: A degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field.
• + Experience : Three years of relevant experience in financial analysis or reporting, preferably within the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sector.
• + Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI).
• + Soft Skills: Excellent communication, well organizedation, and planning abilities.
• + Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey complex information clearly.
• + Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and build relationships across departments.
