Role overview

What you’ll do

• Provide client-project technical leadership, shape deals and propositions, drive architecture decisions, and create plans, roadmaps, and design artifacts.
• Shape high-level proposal designs, estimates, and contractual details; support strategic opportunities and intervene in high-risk complex deliveries.
• Coach junior technical colleagues and present technical concepts as audience-appropriate, value-based outcomes to client and internal stakeholders.
• Qualify client opportunities, capture requirements, recommend approaches, build trusted-advisor relationships, and represent solutions in deal reviews, presentations, and negotiations.
• Help shape Data & AI offerings, accelerators, intellectual property, and go-to-market initiatives with practice leadership.
• Lead development of data platforms, real-time intelligence, and reporting using Python, SQL, Azure Data Services, Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, and Snowflake.
• Identify and deliver data and automation migration, visualization and reporting, platform modernization, and governance solutions.
• Drive Data & AI growth, managed services, multi-year engagements, and integration with other solution areas.

Skills and experience

• Excellent hands-on knowledge of Microsoft Azure and Snowflake; the role also develops solutions using Python, SQL, Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, and Snowflake.
• Deep understanding of structured and unstructured data, streaming, IoT, AI, GenAI, and related analytics capabilities.
• Experience creating technical visions, high-level architectures, and delivery roadmaps for large enterprise Data & AI programs.
• Understanding of responsible data-platform and migration principles and regulatory frameworks, including communicating and addressing risks.
• Ability to create and present design artifacts for approval by multidisciplinary architecture stakeholders and senior client executives.
• Experience designing and delivering large-scale data platforms using approaches such as Lakehouse, Data Mesh, Fabric, or Cloud Scale Analytics, with attention to performance, security, and reliability.
• Comfort leading client sales and business-development opportunities; proven success in complex technical sales and large-scale cloud data architecture or delivery.
• Strong communication, collaboration, client advisory, and remote-team leadership abilities.
• An advanced quantitative degree is described as likely, with equivalent education and experience accepted.
