Role overview
Design, optimize, and maintain database systems with a focus on performance, reliability, and data integrity.
Key responsibilities
- Design and optimize database schemas, indexes, and stored procedures.
- Develop and optimize SQL queries for improved performance.
- Support data migration, validation, and reconciliation.
- Assist with data warehouse and analytics setup.
- Ensure database high availability and disaster recovery readiness.
Requirements
- At least 10 years of database development experience is required.
- At least 5 years of experience with SQL Server or Azure SQL is required.
- Strong knowledge of SQL queries, stored procedures, and database optimization is required.
- Experience in performance tuning, high availability, and disaster recovery is required.
- Knowledge of data migration and data warehousing is required.
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate certification is preferred.
Compensation
- Pay is QAR 13,000 to QAR 18,000 per month.
Workplace
- Work is in person.
