Data Security Architect / SME - Data Loss Prevention (DLP)

• **8+ years of hands-on experience in Data Security**
• , with deep expertise in Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Data Classification, Information Rights Management (IRM/DRM), Data Protection, and Enterprise Security Architecture.
• **Strong experience designing, implementing, and managing enterprise data security platforms**
• , including tools such as Forcepoint DLP, Symantec DLP, Digital Guardian, Boldon James Data Classification, Seclore IRM/DRM, Microsoft Purview, and related technologies.
• **Architect-level experience in solution design and security architecture**
• , including creation of High-Level Designs (HLDs), Low-Level Designs (LLDs), technical specifications, integration architectures, threat modeling, and security assessments for enterprise environments.
• **Proven expertise across L1, L2, and L3 operations**
• , including incident triage, advanced troubleshooting, root cause analysis, policy tuning, custom rule creation, incident response, and remediation of complex data security incidents.
• **Strong knowledge of cloud and hybrid security environments**
• , with hands-on experience securing Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, Azure, AWS, and integrating data security controls across cloud and on-premises platforms.
• **Experience managing and administering security infrastructure**
• , including Windows/Linux servers, DLP servers, classification platforms, IRM solutions, virtualization technologies, backup, disaster recovery, patch management, capacity planning, and platform hardening.
• **Deep understanding of encryption and key management technologies**
• , including PKI, Microsoft PKI, HSMs (Thales or equivalent), certificate management, secure key lifecycle management, and data protection frameworks.
• **Strong integration experience with enterprise security ecosystems**
• , including Microsoft Sentinel (SIEM), EDR/XDR platforms, Email Security Gateways, Web Security/Proxy solutions, MDM, Identity & Access Management (IAM), and SOAR platforms.
• **Extensive knowledge of security governance and compliance frameworks**
• , including ISO 27001, NIST, CIS Controls, data privacy regulations, risk assessments, security audits, compliance reviews, and policy development/enforcement.
• **Leadership and stakeholder management experience**
• , including leading migration and transformation programs (on-prem to cloud), managing vendor relationships, mentoring security teams, driving automation through PowerShell/Python scripting, and collaborating with SOC, Infrastructure, Legal, Compliance, and Business stakeholders.
