About the Role

Project Leadership and Delivery

• Own complex data science, AI, and Generative AI projects from problem definition through delivery.
• Translate business challenges into AI/ML solutions, architectures, models, and use cases; evaluate approaches for value, feasibility, scalability, and performance.
• Maintain project quality and measurable client impact, and communicate risks, limitations, and trade-offs.
• Understand client objectives, challenge assumptions, recommend alternatives, and advise on practical AI, machine learning, Generative AI, and AI agent applications.

Generative AI and Technical Leadership

• Design and guide Generative AI and AI agent solutions, including selection of models, architectures, tools, and frameworks.
• Assess use cases against client requirements and environment, and translate relevant developments in LLMs and agentic AI into practical solutions.
• Guide and mentor data scientists and project teams; review technical approaches and promote strong engineering and data science practices.
• Collaborate with data engineers, consultants, cloud specialists, and client teams, and contribute to AI capabilities, methodologies, and best practices.

Qualifications and Experience

• Senior-level experience in data science, machine learning, AI, or a related field, with a track record of delivering complex projects.
• Master’s degree in machine learning, computer science, mathematics, engineering, statistics, or a related quantitative field.
• Strong hands-on background in machine learning, data science, and AI, including practical knowledge of Generative AI, LLMs, and AI agents or agentic architectures.
• Experience translating business problems into technical AI/ML solutions and selecting models, architectures, and approaches.
• Strong understanding of data processing, modeling, algorithms, and data architecture.
• Consulting or highly client-facing experience is strongly preferred.
• Microsoft Azure and Microsoft ecosystem knowledge is highly preferred; relevant Azure AI and data services experience is an advantage.
• Ability to lead technical discussions independently and advise senior stakeholders; team mentorship or technical leadership is valued, particularly for Manager-level candidates.

Profile and Communication

• Fluency in Arabic and strong professional English communication skills are required.
• Strong client-facing and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Able to challenge requirements constructively, communicate an independent technical point of view, and structure ambiguous business problems into actionable AI solutions.
• Comfortable taking ownership and working autonomously.
