The role
Build and ship Palantir Foundry data products for clients across industries, from pipelines and Ontology models to operational applications.
Work with consultants, data scientists, and engineers as the team's Foundry expert, setting standards and supporting new engagements.
What you will do
- Build and maintain production data pipelines in Foundry using Pipeline Builder and Code Repositories with Python or PySpark transforms.
- Design and evolve Ontology object types, link types, actions, and functions that model client businesses.
- Deliver operational applications and analytics in Workshop, Contour, Quiver, and Slate, working directly with business users.
- Integrate client source systems and cloud platforms such as GCP, Azure, or AWS into Foundry, with sound data quality, lineage, and permissions.
- Use code review, automated tests, CI/CD, and clear documentation.
- Partner with data scientists and consultants to take ML and AIP use cases from prototype to production.
- Lead or contribute to implementations from scoping and architecture through handover, and explain technical choices to non-technical stakeholders.
- Coach colleagues, share Foundry best practices, and help shape the company's Palantir offering.
What you bring
- Hands-on production experience with Foundry Code Repositories, Pipeline Builder, Ontology, and at least one of Workshop, Contour, Quiver, or Slate.
- Experience delivering or leading an end-to-end Foundry implementation; client-facing experience is preferred.
- Strong Python skills, including writing, testing, and releasing production code; PySpark is a plus.
- Strong SQL and experience with relational or columnar databases such as BigQuery, SQL Server, or Postgres.
- Git and version-control workflows, including pull requests and code review.
- A practical, problem-solving approach to complex data challenges.
Nice to have
- Foundry certifications, AIP, or the Ontology SDK (OSDK).
- Experience with GCP, Azure, or AWS; Agile delivery and CI/CD experience.
- REST API design, front-end work, or ML model deployment.
