Data Quality Analyst II

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Analyze structured and unstructured data from multiple sources, identify inconsistencies, and improve data accuracy, completeness, and reliability.
• Develop data-quality policies, procedures, standards, and processes; document work and recommend process improvements.
• Perform statistical tests and ad hoc analysis, including analysis of large datasets, to answer program and stakeholder questions.
• Develop automated reporting solutions, scripts, and dashboards to monitor data-flow accuracy and quality.
• Review data-ingestion and transformation artifacts for validation and analysis.
• Prepare quality assurance reports and streamline processes using Excel, SharePoint, Power BI, and Tableau.
• Collaborate on report updates and improvements to data collection and storage processes.
• Support project planning and Agile ceremonies; help define requirements, goals, implementation, and schedules.
• Present findings, train users and stakeholders, mentor junior team members, provide technical leadership, and peer-review work.

Required experience and skills

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Math, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience.
• Advanced Excel expertise, including pivot tables, formulas, and conditional formatting.
• The description names SQL, R, or Python and visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or AWS QuickSight.
• Knowledge of databases such as PostgreSQL or Oracle and data modeling.
• Ability to manage multiple clients and projects or tasks simultaneously.
