An industrial conglomerate seeks an experienced Data Protection Officer to join its growing compliance team.
The role is described as a senior-level hire and is based in Abu Dhabi.
Responsibilities
- Map information flowing into and out of the organization.
- Establish procedural controls for handling data in line with global regulatory obligations.
- Develop and implement a compliant data-protection framework from scratch.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of experience in data governance.
- Solid data-privacy experience.
- Knowledge of local and international laws and regulations in this area.
- A legal background is ideal, but not stated as mandatory.
- Candidates must be willing to be based in Abu Dhabi.
Compensation
