The Data Manager establishes trusted, governed, business-ready data across the Hattan Group.
The role builds a single source of truth, improves data quality, and enables reporting, analytics, and data-driven decisions.
The role prepares the organization for future ML and AI adoption and develops data culture, governance, and scalable architecture.
Data governance and ownership
- Define, implement, and maintain enterprise data governance across the organization.
- Establish data ownership and stewardship across business domains and legal entities.
- Define and enforce data policies, standards, naming conventions, and business definitions.
- Maintain governance artefacts and documentation in GDT SharePoint and knowledge repositories.
Data architecture and platforms
- Own and design architecture spanning operational systems, integration layers, data platforms, and analytics environments.
- Design and manage a centralized data repository and enterprise analytics platforms.
- Align architecture with enterprise standards in collaboration with the Enterprise Solution Architect.
- Modern data platforms in the Microsoft ecosystem are referenced; the description names Fabric, Azure Data Services, Dataverse, and Power BI as preferred experience.
Analytics and collaboration
- Deliver enterprise reporting and analytics for leadership and business operations.
- Standardize dashboards, KPIs, and reporting frameworks across brands and business units.
- Enable self-service analytics while maintaining governance and data consistency.
- Partner with Digital and business teams to deliver actionable insights and performance analytics.
- Coordinate with Enterprise Applications, Digital, Infrastructure, and Security teams; translate stakeholder needs into scalable data solutions.
Experience and qualifications
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in data management, data architecture, or enterprise analytics roles.
- Proven experience implementing enterprise data governance frameworks and delivering end-to-end enterprise data platforms.
- Experience in ERP and enterprise application environments such as Oracle, D365, or equivalent.
- Experience across multi-brand, multi-entity, or distributed environments is highly desirable.
- Experience preparing organizations for advanced analytics, ML, or AI adoption is preferred.
Preferred technologies
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Services, Dataverse, or Power BI is preferred.
