Role Summary
We are looking for an experienced Data Governance Lead to support the finalization of enterprise data governance deliverables as part of an ongoing Data & AI transformation program.
Most governance frameworks, policies, and tooling designs are already in place; the consultant will focus on reviewing, refining, and completing key artifacts to ensure readiness for implementation and handover.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and validate existing data governance operating models, policies, and technical documentation
- Identify gaps, inconsistencies, and improvement opportunities across current deliverables
- Refine and finalize governance frameworks in alignment with industry best practices and regulatory requirements
- Consolidate enterprise data policies, procedures, and standards across domains such as data quality, data sharing, modelling, compliance, and AI governance
- Review governance tooling configurations, including metadata catalog, classification, and lineage solutions, while completing supporting technical documentation
- Support adoption readiness by refining training materials and onboarding data stewards
- Ensure all deliverables are implementation-ready, quality-assured, and prepared for stakeholder sign-off and operational rollout
Expected Deliverables
- Finalized data governance operating model and role framework
- Completed and quality-assured data policies and procedural standards
- Reviewed and documented governance tooling setup
- Refined data stewardship training and onboarding materials
- Pay: Up to AED25,000.00 per month
