Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented
Data Entry Executive
with an accounting background to support financial data processing, record keeping, and bookkeeping tasks.
The role ensures accurate entry of accounting data into systems, maintenance of financial records, and support for the finance team in day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Enter financial transactions (invoices, receipts, payments, journals) into accounting software or ERP systems.
- Maintain and update accounting records with high accuracy and attention to detail.
- Assist in accounts payable and accounts receivable data entry and tracking.
- Reconcile data entries with source documents to ensure accuracy.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Organize and maintain financial records.
- Verify and correct data discrepancies in coordination with the finance team.
- Generate basic reports from accounting systems when required.
- Ensure confidentiality and security of financial information.
- Support auditors by providing required data and documentation.
Qualification
- :
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Prior experience in data entry or accounting assistant roles preferred.
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles (debits, credits, ledgers).
- Familiarity with MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, SAP – advantage).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proactive, with a high level of confidence
