Role overview

What you'll do

• Design, develop, and optimize scalable Snowflake data pipelines and cloud-native data platforms.
• Build ELT/ETL solutions that integrate enterprise data while ensuring quality, security, and governance.
• Translate business needs into technical solutions with stakeholders, architects, and delivery teams.
• Optimize Snowflake performance, cost management, and data modeling.
• Provide technical leadership, design solutions, mentor colleagues, and contribute to client project delivery.

What we're looking for

• Proven enterprise data engineering delivery experience and strong hands-on Snowflake expertise, including at least five years with Snowflake.
• Experience with SQL, Python, and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing, dimensional modeling, Iceberg open-table formats, data integration, and data governance.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and consulting skills; experience in Agile delivery and leading technical workstreams.
• Proven end-to-end ELT/ETL pipeline experience and Snowflake feature delivery, including Snowpark, Dynamic Tables, Streams and Tasks, Snowpipe or Streaming ingestion, dbt Projects, and open table formats.
• Experience with dbt, Apache Airflow, Kafka, or other modern data engineering tools.

Bonus qualifications

• Relevant Snowflake or cloud certifications, financial services exposure, DevOps, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, and previous consulting experience are bonuses.
