Data Engineer & Developer (AI-Enabled) – Family Office

We are seeking a highly motivated Data Engineer & Developer to join a dynamic Family Office team.
This role focuses on building and modernizing internal analytics and research tools, while supporting key operational processes across the organization.
The ideal candidate combines strong data engineering, development, and analytics skills with a foundational understanding of financial markets and emerging AI tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain internal analytics and research platforms
- Develop scalable data pipelines and backend systems
- Support and optimize Family Office processes and workflows
- Design and implement data models (Star/Snowflake schemas)
- Develop dashboards and reporting solutions using Power BI and SSRS
- Build and manage ETL/ELT pipelines ensuring data quality and integrity
- Perform data validation, performance tuning, and optimization
- Integrate REST APIs and external data sources
- Contribute to AI-driven initiatives and assist in building AI agents
- Work closely with stakeholders to define KPIs and business metrics
• Advanced SQL (T-SQL, PL/pgSQL)
- Data Modeling (Star / Snowflake schemas)
• Power BI & SSRS
- ETL / ELT pipeline development
• PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Azure SQL
- Azure Data Factory (foundational knowledge)
- AWS (S3, EC2 – fundamentals)
- Power BI
- Meridium APM (nice to have)
• Python (Pandas, NumPy)
- Java (basic to intermediate)
- SQL scripting
- REST API integration
- Experience with AI agents or “vibe coding” is a plus
Preferred Qualifications
- **Basic understanding of financial markets and investment concepts**
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills
