Data Architect

Overview

• Develop, maintain, and evolve the enterprise data and technology architecture frameworks aligned with the organnisation’s data strategy, digital health transformation, and long term organizational objectives.
• Design and govern **enterprise data architecture blueprints, including data models, integration patterns, APIs,** interoperability standards, and cloud components across the organnisation's platforms and systems.
• Lead the architecture design of the organnisation’s **Data Lakehouse** and analytical platforms, ensuring scalability, reliability, security, and seamless integration with operational and legacy systems.
• Provide technical leadership in selecting and adopting data management tools, platforms, and cloud technologies that support both current and future data capabilities.
• Serve as a liaison between IT infrastructure teams, the Data & Excellence Office (DEO), and business stakeholders to ensure alignment, clear communication, and coordinated delivery.
• Align IT strategy, infrastructure investments, and architectural roadmaps with the organnisation’s business objectives, data initiatives, data monetization opportunities, and public private partnership models.
• Identify architectural risks, constraints, and bottlenecks early, and propose pragmatic design alternatives to ensure resilience, performance, and sustainability.
• Define, enforce, and oversee architecture standards, principles, and best practices, and facilitate architecture governance reviews while maintaining centralized architectural documentation repositories.
• Lead and manage the technical integration of new systems and technologies, ensuring compatibility with existing IT, data, security, and governance frameworks, and champion necessary infrastructure upgrades.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends, assess their impact on enterprise architecture, and ensure all architectures comply with privacy, security, access control, and regulatory requirements (e.g., UAE PDPL).
• Undertake all duties and responsibilities reasonably required and aligned with the data management & governance.
