Role overview

Supports data analytics, business intelligence, digitalization, and process automation within the Technical department.

Develops reliable dashboards and automated reports, improves data quality, and turns operational data into decision-ready insights.

Supports initiatives from requirements gathering through implementation, adoption, and continuous improvement.

Accountabilities

  • Develop and enhance BI reports and automated dashboards using the Maintenance Information System, OPS BI, EDP, and other operational data platforms.
  • Work with IT and business stakeholders on data access and definitions, and ensure datasets are accurate and fit for purpose.
  • Monitor data flows, validate connections, diagnose data-quality issues, and coordinate corrective actions.
  • Identify and prioritize opportunities to digitize manual workflows and automate recurring technical processes.
  • Lead initiatives through requirements, solution design, testing, deployment, handover, and improvement.
  • Define scope, timelines, resources, success measures, and delivery plans with stakeholders.
  • Recommend tools and platforms that improve efficiency, visibility, and data-driven decisions.
  • Promote data literacy, training, adoption, and continuous improvement.

Education and experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related analytical discipline.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a complex analytical, numerical, BI, or reporting environment; aviation experience is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Power Platforms and analytics or query tools such as SQL, R, Python, Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI platforms.
  • Hands-on experience in data analytics, dashboard development, BI reporting, data modelling, and ETL principles.
  • Familiarity with aviation maintenance systems and platforms such as OPS BI and EDP is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of Power Automate, Python scripting, or RPA tools is an advantage.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability, including interpreting complex data, identifying trends, diagnosing issues, and recommending practical solutions.
  • Attention to detail in validating data, documenting assumptions, and maintaining reliable reports.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, including explaining technical information to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and drive improvement, digitalization, and automation from idea to implementation.
