Data Analyst

About the Role

Namaa Partners is seeking a Data Analyst to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is crucial for an ongoing operating performance project with a corporate group in Saudi Arabia, as well as for subsequent engagements. The role involves transforming client data into actionable insights for management.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect data extracts from clients' finance, HR, and operations systems, and verify them for gaps and errors.
• Clean, join, and reshape data using Excel, SQL, or Python to enable comparisons across business units and years.
• Develop Power BI dashboards that illustrate performance measures agreed upon for each engagement.
• Compose concise notes explaining changes in numerical data and their underlying reasons.
• Document all sources, assumptions, and adjustments to ensure work traceability and verifiability.

Qualifications and Experience

• 0-1 year of experience in data analysis.
• Proficiency in data cleaning, joining, and reshaping using Excel, SQL, or Python.
• Experience in building Power BI dashboards.
• Ability to articulate data findings in clear, concise written notes.

Work Environment and Benefits

This is a full-time, remote position based anywhere in Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will work from home. The rest of the team operates from Oklahoma City, which is eight to nine hours behind Riyadh, requiring some calls towards the end of the Saudi working day. The compensation package includes a monthly salary paid in Saudi riyals with GOSI registration, family medical insurance, twenty-five days of annual leave plus public holidays, an end-of-service award under Saudi Labor Law, and a yearly training budget for courses and professional certificates. Necessary home office equipment, including a laptop, will be provided.
