Role Overview

We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a MS Excel Expert to work on a freelance basis.

This role involves providing expert-level data analysis and management services using Microsoft Excel, with a focus on data cleaning, annotation, validation, and reporting.

The MS Excel Expert will play a critical role in supporting data-driven decision-making across various industries, ensuring high-quality data and actionable insights.

With a strong background in Excel and data analysis, this individual will drive business outcomes and contribute to the success of a leading global enterprise.

Key Responsibilities

  • Annotate, clean, structure, and validate datasets using Excel, ensuring high accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Perform advanced Excel operations such as VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, pivot tables, conditional formatting, data validation, advanced filters, nested formulas, and text functions.
  • Review datasets for accuracy, completeness, and consistency, identifying discrepancies and escalating data quality issues to stakeholders.
  • Prepare reports, trackers, and productivity summaries to support data-driven decision-making and business outcomes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data quality, integrity, and compliance with established standards and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with a strong understanding of advanced functions, formulas, and features.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work efficiently with large datasets and complex data relationships.
  • Excellent attention to detail and quality control, with a focus on accuracy, completeness, and consistency in data processing and analysis.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders across various functions and levels.
  • Experience working with large datasets and data management tools, with a strong understanding of data governance and compliance principles.
